I am a Zane fan! Everytime she writes a new book I experience something different from them. I am glad that there is someone out there that is willing to express their sexual side and is not ashamed to express it in a book...Zane keep up the good work b/c you keep me craving for more!
I think that Zane has talent and her plots are very carefully planned. However, the sex and language is beginning to turn me off. Some of the things I've read is just downright vulgar.
i love Lady Zane. to be honest with you i was not into myself sexually until Sex Chronicles came into my life. and after Chocolate Flava me and my man really started making love instead of just bang-bang, boom-boom. seeing Zane conquer her sexuality has given me courage to do the same. so i have decided to begin a novel. not exactly as Zane has. but with my own words and expressions. i say this from the bottom of my heart, thank you Zane and i love you for being the powerful, sexually liberated, african-american women that you are. don't let the haters get to you girl. keep it real and keep it cumming sistah.
When people post regarding their opinions and it's not what you want to hear, it does not mean that you are "hating" per se. I don't wish Zane any bad luck, I just think that her writing is too explicit and it's ok if others want to read it. I would just rather read love scenes that leave a little something to my imagination. Like the lyrics to the late Luther Vandross' songs. To me trying to pattern after Zane's characters in the bedroom will get you nothing less than "bang bang, boom boom". I would rather the man make love to me in a sensual, unselfish way. Be attentive, resepectful, and slow. Reading a book certainly is not going to get me what I need/want in bed, because I don't believe it can be taught from a sexual explicit vulgar book. Either the man can make love or he can't and he certainly wouldn't need lessons from a Zane 101 book. At least not for ME.
Ok I haven't been into reading much since I grew up got married and had kids. My best friend kept telling me that she was reading abook that reminded her of me. She talked me into reading "Addicted". It felt like Zane had read my diary. All except the tragedies at the end. i am still living a different life than what my husband knows and what my family sees. I started reading anything written or presented by Zane. But it increases my sexual appetite and I want to experience sexual exctacy like it's described in her books. Keep on writing Zane you keep making me HOTTTTTT!
I used to be a Zane fan years ago. Personally i really do not need a book to help me with my sexual experiences.I create my own. After a while it gets boring. Don't get me wrong she is an excellent author i just want to she what else she has besides erotica. If that's the case we all can write some freaky material and sell it. I just want to read something else from her.
Why do I love Zane so much? I do because Zane's characters do and say all the things that our alter ego's have always wanted to do and says but have felt suppressed by society. Now most of us have freed our inhibitions and live life as we always wanted to by being sexually liberated with our partners.

I really respect Zane as an author, although her books contain alot of sexual encounters, her story lines always contain a strong underlying message.
