The New York Daily News on how to be a fanboy. Remember: No Girlz Allowed!

If you're more of a geek than a fanboy, Amazon has decided what you should buy. Many of them are books that you could get much cheaper from Ye Olde SFBC, I might add...

Some overly enthusiastic Guardian writer thinks it's time to eliminate the book. OK, I can see the possibility -- but the laugh's on him, 'cause the newspaper will definitely die first in that scenario.

Good links, and I especially liked the one about being a fanboy. Of course, to confirm my status as such, I have to point out that the "Daily News" article conflates details of "Star Trek II" with those of "Star Trek VI" -- I hope it was the reporter who got it wrong and not Takei. :-)

Amazon always gets things wrong. I may be a geek, but I have only the Scalzi and the Varley. I do subscribe to Asimov's, and I've rented Firefly from Netflix. I don't have the gear and don't particularly want them.
