David Gerrold lists all of the inventions thought up first by SF writers for PC Magazine.
Sci Fi Wire has an article on the progress on the movie-ization of The Lies of Locke Lamora. Today: Kevin & Dan Hageman have been hired to write the script. (And I have no idea whether this is good, bad or indifferent news.)
Irene Gallo (art director for Tor, and thus for something like a third of all SFF books published in the US) has a new blog with all sorts of interesting posts -- today she has a 30-second interview with the young (I think he's young; I haven't met him in person yet) artist Daniel Dos Santos. Keep an eye on Dos Santos; he's only popped up in the last few years and he's already doing great work (like his covers for The Duke's Ballad and the SFBC omnibuses Wizard for Hire and Wizard by Trade).
