Interviews for 4/17

Not an interview as such, but GalleyCat has ferreted out some quotes from Ken MacLeod about his upcoming novel The Execution Channel.

Speaking of Ken MacLeod, he's posted the full text of his recent speech to the Birmingham SF Group.

The Agony Column talks to Liza Mundy about her new book Everything Conceivable, which is actually a non-fiction book about science. But Rick Kleffel makes such a big deal about its SFnal connection that I feel compelled to mention it here.

SFX interviewed Alastair Reynolds about his new (in the UK) novel The Prefect. (Hm...I wonder if it will still have that very British title when it lands over here?) [via SF Signal]

Vera Nazarian interviews Mindy L. Klasky, author of Girl's Guide to Witchcraft.

Montreal radio station CJAD interviewed Robert J. Sawyer about his new novel Rollback. (Warning: link is directly to an mp3.)

Rollback

Robert J. Sawyer (the hardest working man in SF -- I've told you before, but you won't listen to me) also answers questions from students about his novel Calculating God.

Douglas E. Cohen interviews Jay Lake about editing.
